KAPSARC Energy Model (KEM) is the first integrated, equilibrium, energy model of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It is used as a tool to help estimating the consequences of alternative energy policies that affect energy production and use within GCC. KEM allows the user to simulate an economic equilibrium with optional inter-sector transfer prices other than marginal cost.
If you require more information about KEM, please refer to the model documentation, or contact us at kem@kapsarc.org.
